10 years ago, no one would have predicted that there would be a market for Ars Imago 320. But in the past few years, we’ve see a rival of film photography unlike any other. All around the world, younger photographers are picking up analog film cameras in an effort to get something different. The tangible process that film photography gives the modern shooter is much more about the interpersonal connection than most of what digital offers. And with Ars Imago 320, photographers are getting a whole lot of versatility. While they state that it’s good enough to be pushed to ISO 800, this is a fine grain film that is also incredibly sharp. It’s for moments when you don’t need ISO 400 but also need more than ISO 100. Best of all, it’s in black and white. Load it up in a camera like the Fujifilm Natura S and you’re bound to have a lot of fun. We sure did. And while it was a limited edition, we hope that it will come back.
There are some great Canon cameras available that are perfect for landscape photographers. Canon cameras are built incredibly well, they have weather sealing that can take all kinds of abuse while they’re out in the field, and they have sensors that can capture and deliver a ton of detail. Add these features up and then throw in some of the quality glass that’s available for both EF mount and RF mount Canon cameras, and you will have a winning package for landscape photography. After the break, we will take a quick look at three of our favorite Canon cameras that we love making landscape images with.

London-based Jaroslav Wieczorkiewicz has always been on our radar for his unique and innovative splash portraits, beginning with his Milky Pinups project. If you’re a fan of comic book characters and out of the box creative projects, we’re sure you’ll enjoy our latest interview with Jaroslav.
It seems to have taken a while for Sigma to come and say that they will be supporting Canon in their Mirrorless adventure. Usually, Sigma is the first to announce their intent when a new system hits the market, but perhaps they have been waiting to see just how serious Canon is about the new platform. Sure, Canon has signaled their intent by releasing some of the most beautiful lenses around, but their camera game sucks. Perhaps Sigma knows something we don’t as they apparently have a roadmap for RF mount lenses in 2020. Let’s talk about this after the break.
After using the Vi Vante Tread Classic Camera Strap for a month or so, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s for the stylish photographer. It has its practicalities for sure. But if you were to compare it to much of what Vi Vante has in their lineup, it’s less functional than the rest. The Vi Vante Tread Classic Camera Strap is for the photographer that first and foremost wants to flex their style. This is evident in many aspects of the design. From the flat profile intended to provide comfort to the red threads that run through it, the Vi Vante Tread Classic is a strap that oozes with allure. And to be honest, I’m perfectly okay with that.
