A while ago, Filson teamed up with two photographers to create their own line of camera bags–but if you’ve ever spotted the Filson Game Bag, you’ll realize that it’s more than good enough for most uses that a photographer would need. Those bags are low profile, durable, American made, and designed to really not look like camera bags. Indeed, they’re much different in both construction and looks. While the Filson Game Bag was never really designed for use with photography gear, it does a great job at being a more affordable version of the Filson camera bags.

Lightroom Mobile is one of those tools that many photographers still stick their nose up at when it comes up in conversation. The truth is though that while the initial and a few subsequent releases were limiting and offered so-so performance, Adobe has worked hard to get the mobile processing suite to a good place and more photographers are starting to take notice.
The Olympus OM-D E-M1 has been one of the top still image focused Micro Four Thirds cameras on the market for some time now. It had been on sale for $200 off for a while now, but today Olympus dropped it even further, another $100 in fact, for a cool $300 in savings off the usual price.

Tamron has been on a huge roll this year with their incredible lens lineup, and today the company is announcing their Tamron SP 150-600mm Di VC USD G2. The G2 moniker stands for Generation 2, and is characterized by a number of upgrades yet keeps it at a pretty modest price overall. The lens features the company’s eBAND Coating, minimum focusing distance of 86.6 in, and faster autofocus. You’ll also get full time manual focus override, 4.5 stops of vibration compensation, and a new feature called the Flex Zoom Lock that lets you lock the lens in at any position. Plus there’s weather sealing.
In his early attempts to create his images Rothwell says that he would stay for some time shooting images, but that after a few interactions with security and the police he decided that it was best to just shoot a few images and then move on to avoid drawing any unwanted attention.
