At the recent TIPA 2024 meeting, editors couldn’t even call the brand by its new name: OM System. Instead, we all just said Olympus. And if you walk into retailers, they barely ever call it OM System. Let’s be honest, we all felt it was an odd change. But today, the OM System formerly known …

This deals ends very shortly! One of the cool things about the LUMIX S5IIX is the stealthy blacked out logo that doesn’t bring attention to itself. I’ve always wanted to get the look of film but digitally and with full-frame cameras. Thankfully, that exists by using Real Time LUTS! The LUMIX S5IIX is very capable …

Canon lenses are fantastic. They’re the ones that I use for nearly all the product images I shoot for our reviews of books, cameras, lenses, lights, etc. Indeed, the lenses and the cameras work together to have a look. JUST A FEW DAYS LEFT! Let’s be very honest here: Fujifilm’s best image quality comes from the Fujifilm GFX lineup. That goes for their lenses, their cameras, their sensors, etc. Medium format’s major different isn’t necessarily in how the aperture and depth of field works. But instead, it’s more about the way that it renders …
Coming soon to Youtube, photographers can watch the film Fill the Frame for free on April 6th. The film, which came out in 2021, profiles the work of several street photographers. The list includes some of the greatest street photographers alive such as Dimitri Mellos, Jonathan Higbee, Julia Gillard, Lauren Welles, Mathias Wasik, Melissa Breyer, Melissa O’Shaughnessy, Richard Sandler, and Paul Kessel. and on that date, you’ll get to watch them in action. In our 15 years as a publication, we’ve featured five of those photographers. So we’re revisiting their work and sharing their insights.
Nikon photographers are getting something that they arguably should’ve received a while ago: access to the Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 II lens. The company announced today that Nikon users will soon be able to purchase the lens for their system at $999. This is great news in so many different ways; and we’re positive that it’s going to cause confusion. If you’re of the belief that Nikon had this lens previously, then you’re wrong.
For several years, we’ve featured images on climate change and so many other environmental issues. Few have really taken to the conceptual world of photography to do it, but Adedolapo Boluwatife has made a series called Invitation to Invade that has rightfully earned awards with how well it illustrates the problem. Besides photographer Christine Ren, he’s the only one who has made we’ve really wanted to hang on our walls around the issue of climate change, waste, etc. Adedolapo is an introvert — and so he made the project from simple observations around him.
