Wildlife photographers are really the ones who are going to love the Sigma 60-600mm f4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports. In truth, very little is as great as getting some of that fantastic morning light in a shot with gorgeous wildlife. And this lens is well built for just that. Not only does it autofocus quickly, but it’s built well. And while there is truthfully nothing wrong with this lens per se, I really wonder why it was made for DSLRs. In fact, I find it almost to be a waste. Mirrorless cameras are just so much more capable and that would have easily extended the capabilities of this lens.
As if we don’t have enough on our plates already, the powers that be (in California) have decided that they want to take even more control of residents lives there because eff you and your income, that’s why. Built-in flash and flash attachments for cameras are now so commonplace that we don’t really give it much thought. But with today’s featured vintage camera ad, we are reminded of a time when using flash meant slapping one of these little explosive contraptions called Flashcubes on a Kodak Instamatic camera. So, if you’re ready, let’s step back into the Swinging Sixties and see it in action!
Over the last few years or so, Full Frame has become the buzz term in the photography world. The sad thing is that there is a growing belief that if professional photographers use anything other than full-frame cameras, then they aren’t really a pro at all. That, my friends, is a bunch of nonsense. Professional photographers can get the best out of any camera regardless of sensor size, so let’s put that notion to bed. There are many non-full frame cameras on the market, specifically APS-C and Micro Four Thirds (and Medium Format, but that’s another article) that are more than suitable for professional photographers and professional use. The non-full frame cameras we will share with you after the break prove that you don’t need to have a full-frame camera to be a pro and to get beautiful images.
