Hi everyone,
We’re in the very last hours of our Kickstarter initiative and we’ve reached our goal. Again, a very big thank you to everyone who is interested in the production of a well done Analog Photography zine. You’ve got around 24 hours left to donate and by the time you read this, maybe even less.
Analog photography submissions keep rolling into my inbox and I’m carefully going through all of them. Rightfully so, I’m being very discerning here because I truly want this to be a masterpiece. I want people to be inspired every time they pick it up and I want people to treat this zine almost like a beautiful center piece for their coffee table. Every time you get a chance, you should pick it up, thumb through, and get inspired by all the fantastic work out there.
Obviously, we’re looking to inspire photographers here, but we’re also looking to show off some of the best work from modern analog photographers and we want to get people excited about it again. Sure, there are lots of photographers out there who shot film, grew up with it, and then discovered digital. But there are also a whole slew of photographers out there who started in digital and never really got the chance to shoot with film–though they are now. Maybe that’s part of this whole beautiful revival process.
Folks who donate receive a zine, and that will be delivered before the end of the year. Folks who give a bit more and set their donations accordingly also receive a year long subscription to our premium photo publication, La Noir Image.
Everyone gets a nicely created 100 page zine of course too. I’m going to genuinely try to have it done by September; but a lot of stuff is going on with the Phoblographer LLC right now. And so I’m on top of managing a million tasks.
Again, thanks to everyone who donated and if you haven’t already, please consider donating and getting a little bit of beautiful inspiration. Trust me, it will be well worth your money. Head over to our Kickstarter to donate.
