It’s hard to not look at Strange Nature and ponder the oddities that photographer Delaney Allen has photographed. I’d imagine that if this were 100 years in the future, we’d probably think these were shot on Mars. But these pieces of Earth address the weird things we can see. These images are both documentary and fine-art in the way that they were photographed. When you look at them, you’re simply just puzzled. Perhaps this is made even more strange by the vertical orientation of the landscape photographs. But no matter what, you’re looking at the fruits of a creative vision that has a deep appreciation for the weird formations that nature makes.
