To help our readers get the most out of the best camera gear, we’ve been working behind the scenes to update several of our most popular editorial buying guides. Today, we’re announcing that we’ve updated our guide to the Best Camera Straps. And for ethical reasons, we’re not including Peak Design. They seem to be pervasive throughout the industry, and as the reviewer of the most camera straps in the photography world, we’re featuring a lot of others. You can find them in this link, and you can explore our insights below.
How We Chose the Best Camera Straps
First off, when we say that we’ve tested the most camera straps, we really mean that. We’ve got relationships with all of the major brands. And there’s something in this list for any type of photographer. Want something more bespoke? It’s in there. Looking for a wrist strap? Our selection is in here. Plus, there’s great stuff about more practical straps.
More Than One
What you should know, is that for lots of the brands that we recommend, we’re also recommending at least one strap for several reasons. And we’ve done the reviews of them to back up our research.
Why Trust Us
The guide includes a table of contents, insights in our ethics, an understanding of how to use the guide, buyer tips, and original product and sample images shot by our staff.
So when we say these are the best, we’re saying it because we’ve actually tested the products and we’ve got the reviews to back it up. I mean, would you trust a vegetarian to tell you what the best steak is if they’ve never tried it? You certainly wouldn’t — and you most likely wouldn’t trust anyone that hasn’t tried a product before. In fact, if we haven’t tried a product, we don’t feature them with prominence in our roundups.
We encourage you to go check out our update when you can.
