The iblazr Is a Flash For Your iOS or Android Phone…Still Just LED Lights

“Mobile cameras are beginning to rival DSLR cameras, with the exception of quality flash,” iblazr founder Vlad Tislenko said. “iblazr changes that, leveling the playing field.”

Really? That’s what the press release states. The iblazer is a fully synced flash for your iOS device or Android device that will give you that nice Terry Richardson party look when combined with your phone. It uses four CREE LED lights, had continuous light mode, adjustable power and a USB rechargeable battery. They’re claiming that you’ll get 1,000 pops or 40 minutes of continuous LED light.

When is someone going to make a totally legit flash for phones with a flash tube and all? Alas, when we received word about the iblazr today, we hoped that it would be said hoped for.

At the moment, it’s still a Kickstarter. But it’s close to getting full funding as of this reporting. Demo video is after the jump.
