The latest update to the Loupedeck+ makes the peripheral even more attractive to photo editors and content creators.
Until today, Loupedeck+ users have been confined to the realms of Lightroom, Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe Audition if they wanted to use their editing console, but a new update has just enabled the Loupedeck+ to be used in Camera Raw in Photoshop. This will no doubt please those who are more comfortable editing their photos in Camera Raw as opposed to Lightroom, and it means that the Loupedeck+ is even more compatible within the Adobe Ecosystem. Join us after the break for more details.
The latest update to the Loupedeck+ will mean that users will now have more flexibility than ever before within Adobe’s vast ecosystem. If you prefer to use Photoshop over Lightroom you will now just be able to open your images straight into Photoshop instead of editing in Lightroom, and transferring them after they have been edited. This will no doubt save quite a bit of time if you have integrated the Loupedeck+ into your editing workflow.
The new update will allow editors and content creators to categorize their images with stars and colors. Users will also be able to boost raw images, manage all basic adjustments like exposure, contrast, and temperature, color correct images using HSL scrolls, and fine-tune images with tone curves. The Loupedeck + update will also allow users to make adjustments to noise reduction, split toning, lens corrections, effects like vignette, and grain, and you’ll be able to use camera calibration to fix tones and more.
Mikko Kesti, the founder and CEO of Loupedesk said: “We value a customer experience that is always evolving to benefit our users most. We’re looking forward to offering our users new Adobe product compatibility with Camera Raw, as it’s something many of them have been specifically asking for. We’re confident bringing this new integration into the mix will help them further increase their productivity with the Loupedeck+ and provide the flexibility they require on a day-to-day basis.”
