It’s here! Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping days of the year; and in a year where we’ve seen camera sales really teeter-totter, we’ve finally got discounts on many brands and their best gear. Some brands have 25% off on camera gear while others are doing what they can to move lenses from their warehouses and into your hands. We’ve found the single best black friday deals for photographers this year. And you can check them out below.

This year, we haven’t seen a whole lot of really great deals. And overall, we’d still recommend to you to go buy used cameras if you’re really wanting one. But otherwise, lenses are a great way to expand your creativity. For example, I really don’t like the 50mm focal length, but I still own many of them. I’ve found ways to figure out how they work differently from a 35mm or 85mm lens. And with that said, I’ve needed to understand how to make my brain think differently.

Don’t get me wrong, if I see in 35mm, then it’s easier to compose that way. But there’s nothing wrong with the brain challenge. In fact, I encourage it to the point where you’re not exhausted. Challenging work is good for us because it means that we’re actually using our brain instead of letting AI do it for us or copying other visual media.
