This tool from SPINN.DESIGN is a new take on old tech.
This is it. This is the one! The thing you never knew you needed until right now. Life will never be the same again once you get your hands on SPINN.DESIGN’s new creation. Prepare to have your mind blown, because this revolutionary tool for photographer could be yours. Once you lay your eyes on it, you’ll revel in its glory and feel weak at the knees. This new take on the trusty old Allen key (or Allen wrench, depending on where you live in the world) is available as part of SPINN.DESIGN’s Kickstarter campaign for the Perfect Camera Carrying System. You simply cannot afford to not have this in your life. Join us after the break for more details.
Okay, all jokes aside, the new tool is actually a pretty unique take on an old tool. As photographers, it’s one we do use from time to time in order to tighten or loosen our trusty tripods and tripod plates. Honestly, Allen keys can be a pain in the neck at times and SPINN.DESIGN is attempting to make things a little easier with their new Photographers Tool.
The Allen key is, well, an Allen key, but the unique, winged design will give you a better grip allow you to generate more torque when tightening up your tripod. There is no doubt that the sleek design will turn heads; you’ll probably even get multiple fist bumps from other photographers as they see you using it because of how cool it is.
The tool’s symmetric design should provide more torque with minimal effort on your part, which is great because wearing out your shutter button finger is something you don’t want to do. The unique design means there will be no tilting, no finger pinching, and no premature wearing out of screws, and it will be the perfect way to compliment the Perfect Camera Carrying System that SPINN.DESIGN is making as well.
The SPINN.DESIGN photographers tool comes with a 4 mm (5/32″) Allen wrench and a nicely proportioned flat head tool. It has a height of 48 mm (1.9″), a width of 50 mm (2.0″), and weighs just 10 grams (1.75 oz). The tool heads are made from hardened steel while the body is made from reinforced Nylon fiberglass.
The SPINN.DESIGN photographers tool has an entry point of $12 and for $28 you can get three of them. The estimated shipping date is November 2019. If you would like more information about SPINN.DESIGN’s Perfect Camera Carrying System, which has raised $30,372 of a goal of $5,703, and the new photographers tool, head to their Kickstarter campaign page.
