Mirrorless Rumors just shared the above image showing the outlines and tech specs of two E-mount lenses, one of them being a (yet unreleased) 35mm f2.8 Zeiss Sonnar that–according to the description–will cover the imaging area of a 35mm full-frame sensor. What this means, in essence, is that the rumored full-frame E-mount camera (probably a NEX model) has just been virtually confirmed. Because from the looks of it, this lens does not seem to be intended for video use on the VG900 NEX camcorder. We have no official information on Sony’s full-frame E-mount camera yet, which is kind of a surprise in these days of information leakage.
We’ll keep you posted about future developments.
