A couple months ago we reviewed the Rokinon 8mm f2.8 fisheye lens for Sony NEX here on The Phoblographer. We were pretty smitten with its compactness, ergonomics and overall quality (build and image wise), and are all the more happy to be able to announce that the lens will soon be available for general purchase. (It should have been available months ago, but apparently Samyang had some delay in its production.) Since the lens is designed for APS-C mirrorless formats, it is only logical that Samyang will ship it in both Sony NEX and Samsung NX mount. The lens will be available from July, and retails under the Rokinon brand name for GBP 279.99 / EUR 349.99 (~ USD 430).

Rokinon lenses can be purchased from B&H, who should have the new lens in stock as soon as it becomes available.
