German photographer, Kilian Schönberger, has created a dreamy landscape series paying homage to the popular book and television series Game of Thrones. Being a fan of the show, Schönberger sought out to capture the epic locations that mimic the fantasy world of the series. He used his knowledge of the history of Central Europe as his basis for the project, drawing parellels between actual events in the country and the story of Game of Thrones. This would help him find locations that capture the same character and mood of the show.
