Last week it was some Fujifilm deals (which are still active by the way) and this week it’s Panasonic savings. If you are into video than there is no doubt that you have at least considered some Panasonic gear for your kit, and if you were holding out for some deals, now is a great time to jump on that bandwagon thanks to some nice camera and lens deals you can take advantage of now…
Photoshop, for all of its power and precision, is more of a tool to be used on an individual basis from image to image. Sure, you can batch edit images with it, but let’s just say it’s less than ideal. Non-destructive image management programs like Lightroom are much better for this sort of task. In Lightroom you can do your color toning and processing on one image and then select other images to sync those settings with – commonly this is referred to batch editing (because you guessed it, you are editing a ‘batch’ of images).
Photographer Zeno Spyropoulos is a photographer that has been working on portraiture for a while but also is truly into analog means for a number of reasons. He’s a photographer that is very much against the Photoshopping trends, loves poetry, and involves emotions in his portraiture. All of this is clearly evident in a lot of the work that Zeno does. Polaroids for years have always been looked at as something fun, simple and great for many times in life. And as Zeno tells us, he’s finding ways to combine it with his love of poetry.
Submerging your film in liquid might not seem like a good idea, but when done properly it’s a photography technique that can garnish unexpectedly beautiful results. Photographer Polina Washington is an expert in these “film soups” and describes the process as a risk that could destroy your work. “But, if even one image turns out well, it’s worth it,” she says. “As they say, the battle is worth the blood.”
He started to realize that photography and music and both linked via composition, editing, mixing and levels.

We’ve been playing with the new Nikon 28mm f1.4 E lens for a little while now and are honestly completely blown away by the image quality. The Nikon 28mm f1.4 E lens is incredibly sharp wide open, but is also has great bokeh and an overall very nice look that I genuinely feel will make a whole lot of sense for portrait photographers, documentary photographers, photojournalists and street photographers. Street photographers: yes. The look is really stunning.

Fujifilm has brought their latest technologies to all of their main X-series now except one, the X-E line, so naturally, the common line of thought right now is that a potential X-E3 is likely to be the company’s next announcement. For those unaware, the X-E3 would be to the X-Pro2 what the X-T20 is to the X-T2, but the latest reports are indicating that we may just have some surprise additions to the X-E line to sweeten the deal a little.
