What to Like About the FUJIFILM X-H2S?
FUJIFILM X-H2S relies on its 26.1MP X – Trans CMOS 5 HS BSI stacked sensor to deliver some of the most film-like high ISO noise we’ve ever seen from a Fujifilm camera. Combined with the camera’s grain effect, you’ll get an aesthetic that will make all your clients really happy.
Here’s a bit of what you should know from our Fujifilm X-H2S review:
- Lovely colors
- Great image quality straight from the camera
- Fast bursts at 15 fps mechanical and 40 fps electronic, with autofocus
- Finally, Fujifilm has animal eye AF
- No blackout viewfinder
- Excellent low light autofocus
- Durable build quality
- Comfortable grip
Who is it For?
FUJIFILM X-H2S is a camera that’s meant for the multimedia shooter. You can create stills with it at a very fast frame rate. But when you need to, you can also do great video with it using Fujifilm’s film simulations. If you’re a photographer that needs to rely on faster cameras to create in the moment, FUJIFILM X-H2S is one of the best bets on the market if you’re also looking for unique image quality via the X – Trans sensor.
Specifically for photographers, we’re really of the belief that a working camera should be able to focus on people with little to no problems in low light. And during our testing period,Fujifilm X-H2S did a pretty incredible job focusing on people of color in difficult lighting — that’s one of the toughest autofocus tests that we’ve done. It could specifically pick out individual faces in a crowd, too.
What Makes the Fujifilm X-H2S So Unique?
There’s a bunch of stuff that makes it really stand out besides the sensor! Fujifilm has film simulations that make pleasing your clients so much easier. And because this is an X Trans sensor, you’ll get a unique look that reminds you of cleaner film output. It could also mean better prints at higher ISOs if that’s the kind of work that you’re doing.
It’s really hard to beat this one, especially considering that it has so many extra buttons and such to put controls right at your fingers.
