This is good news for those who want to customize their photo shoot experience while in a Peerspace rental property.
Peerspace likes to call themselves the Airbnb for creative professionals who need studios and shoot locations in cities far and wide. Now, they’re hoping to take their business to the next level by offering renters the chance to add unique services to the rental property of their choice. If you like to go above and beyond for your clients while on location, you might want to read more about this cool new feature from Peerspace after the break.
For those not in the know, Peerspace is a company that jumped in on the Airbnb renting craze. Their twist is, instead of offering places for people to stay, they provide unique locations that can be rented out by the hour, and that can also be featured in movies, documentaries, photo shoots, and more. It’s a pretty cool idea: it allows photographers to find neat places to shoot no matter where they may find themselves.
To take their service to the next level, Peerspace has decided to launch a program called Add-Ons. If you have a specific idea for a shoot and need the right props or services in the location you have chosen, now you might not have to worry about bringing everything together yourself.
Peerspace and their á la carte Add-Ons will allow you to choose everything from furniture to equipment rentals, and studio lighting to farm-to-table lunches. They can even bring in a barista and coffee services, casino services with a dealer, security guards, catering, staffing, equine assistants, and even a giant Jenga set.
Now, it is important to note that the Add-Ons available are subject to the ones the hosts will allow at their property. When you select the property you want to rent, the Add-Ons available will be listed. When you see what you want, add it to your cart and then check out as usual.
Overall, this is a pretty cool idea, and it’s a unique in the photo studio rental market. No prices have been mentioned, but we’re sure they will be on a per-location basis.
