The Langly Field Jacket was designed with the photographer in mind
We always talk about photography specific bags and such, but have you ever considered a specialized jacket?
Langly has a long and rich history in the photography bag marketplace with their excellent offering of outdoor and travel focused bags that are both stylish and rugged. Now the company is venturing into a new market with their latest Kickstarter project, the Langly Field Jacket; which, as you may have guessed, is also a rugged yet stylish product designed for travelers and photographers.
Langly has been calling their Field Jacket the world’s most versatile three-layer weather-proof jacket; it is designed to protect you from rain, snow, and wind. The jacket will be available in two variations, the base Traveler model, and an upgraded (complete with more pockets, ha) Photographer model. But really, there are only five features that the Photographer model has over the general Traveler model: a built-in Memory Card Wallet, a Film Pouch, a Battery Pouch, a Filter and Lens-Cap Holder, and a built-in Lens/Sunglass Wipe. Other than those five features, the two options are identical in terms of features; either option is still a great choice for those interested.
The three-Layer technology in the fabric of the jacket is designed to be breathable, temperature controlled, and yet still waterproof and durable. Oh, and let’s be real, the most important feature since you will also be carrying a ton of crap in it, the material itself is very lightweight. This is good just generally, but especially if you are already carrying a ton of stuff as it will not be added weight on your back for no reason.
If you are traveling, the Field Jacket also comes with some excellent security features, including an RFID blocking material to prevent high tech thieves from stealing your credit card information. They have thought about almost everything with this bag.
