The new Tenba Solstice backpacks allow you to cram a ton of gear into them.
For its entry into the outdoor enthusiast market, Tenba has announced the release of its new Solstice Backpacks. Designed for adventurous photographers, filmmakers, and creatives who are always on the go, the Solstice promises to provide secure gear access and all-day carrying comfort. Tenba’s new collection of camera backpacks come in 12L, 20L, and 24L sizes, and have a number of features that outdoor photographers and filmmakers find important when they’re on the road. The Solstice backpacks were designed to have comfort, secure access, adjustment provisions, protective interior, ample space for gear and laptops, durability, and weather resistance.
The Solstice backpack is built with secure rear access to equipment so you don’t have to fully remove the bag, or set it down on rough, wet, or muddy terrain to take out or store your gear. This also addresses the common problem of gear theft, as the camera and other equipment can only be taken out by the user.
To ensure that you can allocate as much space as you need, Tenba’s new offering also has a versatile interior divider system that can accommodate cameras, lenses, and other personal items. DSLRs and mirrorless cameras of all sizes can fit inside the Solstice backpacks. According to Tenba, the 12L and 20L backpacks can accommodate a camera with an attached 24-70mm 2.8 lens, while the 24L can fit pro-sized DSLR with an attached 200mm 2.8 lens. The 12L, 20L, and 24L backpacks can also each fit an iPad Mini, full-sized iPad, and 13-inch laptop respectively.
Like most camera backpacks, the Solstice also has a waist belt and adjustable sternum strap to help balance out the weight and make lugging your gear comfortable. The side pockets, which compress flat against the bag when not in use, can fit a large water bottle or tripod. Also included is a removable and washable WeatherWrap rain cover for added protection in wet weather conditions.
