Video Has Come to Instagram, Announce 13 New Filters

It’s been rumored for a little while now and Facebook has finally done it: they’ve brought video to Instagram. We reported on this recently as Facebook has been trying to create a Twitter Vine competitor. When you go to take a picture, you’ll now see a movie camera icon at will allow you to record up to 15 seconds of video.

After you capture the video, you can then add one of the 13 new Instagram filters to them. But there’s more, Instagram is also announcing a Cinema Feature: which helps to stabilize your video after you’ve shot it.

Instagram for iOS version 4.0 is currently available for download in Apple’s App Store and Instagram for Android version 4.0 is now available on Google Play.
