The idea of multi-purpose tripod mounting plates seems to be making the rounds these days. The latest offering comes from JOBY, whose new UltraPlate features a second tripod mount for accessories such as camera straps. JOBY claims almost universal tripod compatibility for their plate which is made of anodized aluminium for high durability. Priced at only $19.95 (US MSRP), the JOBY UltraPlate is available now via JOBY’s online store.
