For my entire career, photographers and agencies have told me that shooting during the golden hour is best. And even today, people tell me that that’s when we should shoot. But I’ve always replied with a unique statement: I make my own light. But this isn’t necessarily when the golden hour is useless to me. And instead, I think that photographers should keep in mind a powerful tool they’re ignoring.
