Sony recently announced the RX1R as an alternative model to the RX1 full-frame fixed-lens compact, as well as the RX100 Mk II as a successor to the critically acclaimed RX100 compact. Both cameras are currently available at Adorama. The RX1R, which is basically the same camera as the RX1 but comes without a lowpass filter for even sharper images, comes in at US-$ 2798.00.
