Street photography is one of the most exciting genres of all time. The ability to create photos in split seconds, while keeping the composition and exposure in mind is truly a gift that keeps giving. While one’s inner eye is significant in creation of good street photographs, there is also the other instance of relying on a camera that can react just as well. If you are someone who wants to buy a good Nikon model for this venture, then we certainly have something in mind.
The camera we are talking about is none other than the Zf. The camera features a 24.5MP full frame sensor, EXPEED 7 image processor, 11 fps of burst rate, and 4K 30p video recording.
The Nikon ZF also features a retro-style body, and that is one of the best parts of the camera. It is weather sealed, which means you can take it outdoors. It is incredibly durable and with the right lens, you can easily take it around. The design appears like the ones made in the 70s and 80s, and it has a nice round viewfinder. There is also a switch that allows one to toggle between photos and videos, and there is a black and white mode. In addition, you can completely articulate the LCD as well. The camera’s system is simple, and that makes things even easier for scene detection.

The camera also has a new retouch functionality. You also can overlay images, which allows one to make multiple exposure photo in-camera after you have shot the photo.
The camera’s focusing ability is great, and in most good and low-light scenes the Nikon Zf works really fast. It can also track people of color with ease. For street photography, you can use zoom focusing, and you can adapt some lenses with an autofocus adapter, such as Zeiss Loxia lenses. The camera also features bird-only autofocus, and you can use direct focusing point to get the best results.
The Nikon Zf has amazing image quality. It has the cleanest high ISO results, and one can shoot at ISO 51,200. There is also black and white JPEG output and vivid JPEG, which are both amazing. The JPEGs hold well together, including higher ISOs, in color as well. As for the RAW files, you can recover a lot of details with each. And, the results feel like the Nikon D700 all over again.
Of any Nikon camera you get, this might be the one that you adapt lenses onto the most. It’s a pleasurable experience that has to be experienced to be understood and that leaves you speechless because you’re in love with the camera each and every time you pick it up.
