Why is it great? The Leica M11 features a large sensor, allowing individuals who require fine details in their images to benefit. Although the device lacks weather sealing, it makes up for it in terms of ergonomics and build quality. As for the focus, you need to zone in on it to get the images without missing too many shots. As for the images, the camera produces colors similar to those of the M9, which means you get a dynamic range, and the colors tend to pop out. Overall, the device provides a tactile experience and makes photography enjoyable again.
Who is it for? Photojournalists will certainly love it. It is a manual camera, but Leica has designed its focus in such a way that it does not hinder your shooting style. At the same time, documentary, wedding, portrait, and event photographers also get plenty of details to play with.

Despite all this, my favorite photos from this review were shot while zone focusing. Indeed, when used the right way, the Leica M11 is a set-it-and-forget-it style of camera. And I love it for that.

They improved the grip, gave it an incredible imaging sensor that rivals the Sony a7r V, majorly improved the autofocus, and built in some of the best battery life I’ve ever experienced. It’s hard to say no to the Leica SL3.
