The Analogue Wonderbox subscription nets you three new films each month.
Have you decided to start shooting with film but are overwhelmed with all the choices? Do you already shoot film but want to learn about more varieties? If either of these sounds like you, you’re going to love this. A British based company, Analogue Wonderland, has just announced a new subscription-based service for film lovers worldwide. Find out more about the new Analogue Wonderbox and why we think this is such a great idea after the break.
One of the hardest things with film photography is choosing exactly what type of film to shoot with. Another problem is that we can get stuck in our ways: we just end up shooting the same film all the time. Where’s the fun in that? The Analogue Wonderbox has been created to help solve both of these problems. Each month, you’ll receive three new films that will push your creative boundaries. You’ll probably be exposed to film types you haven’t considered before.
What Do You Get in the Analogue Wonderbox?

So, what can you expect, and just how much does this new service cost? Photographers can expect to receive six rolls of film every two months for 50GBP (roughly $65). Shipping is 12GBP (approximately $15). Hey, nobody said shooting film was cheap, okay. Still, this is a great deal because the Analogue Wonderbox will be delivered right to your door.
The September box contains Dubblefilm Bubblegum, Ilford Pan F, and Rollei 400s. The October box will give you Bergger Pancro 400, Lomo Metropolis, and a roll of Kodak Ultramax. Over time, you’ll receive color, black and white, creative infrared, slide film, and converted cine film. You’ll also get many rare edition films in the 35mm format too.
What Makes the Wonderbox So Worthwhile?

So, why do we think this is so great? Sure, you can go out and buy these films yourself. However, the Analogue Wonderbox gives you more than just film. If you’re a beginner and aren’t sure how to get the most out of your investment, you’re throwing money away. Along with the subscription to the Analogue Wonderbox, you’ll also get guides. These guides teach you how to come to grips with the creative differences of each film. You can even enter the photos you have taken in monthly competitions so that you can win prizes.
We all know that a creative rut is right around the corner for any of us. I know I have been through many, especially during this pandemic. The great thing with bundles like the Analogue Wonderbox is that the products you receive will help you think differently. Sometimes we need to be prodded to go in new directions, and the Analogue Wonderbox will help you do that.
