A free Editor’s Choice Style Pack for Capture One 12 users is a nice gesture from Phase One.
Capture One 12 has come along in leaps and bounds over the last few months, and the image processing software is a serious contender to Lightroom when it comes to its feature set. The latest version of the software which is 12.0.1 fixes a number of small issues that came with the update to version 12, and as a thank you to all users, Phase One have decided to gift all users with a free Editor’s Choice Style Pack. Join us after the break to find out how to get yours.
The last big update to Capture One was when the platform jumped up to version 12. With an all-new user interface, native support for Fujifilm’s film simulations, range masking, gradient masks, and many more features, the platform became much more user friendly. We all use Capture One 12 here at the Phoblographer as we genuinely believe that the software can manipulate RAW files to a much larger degree than the competition.
The Editors Choice Style Pack is being given away for free as a way to celebrate the update to software version 12.0.1, and as a way to say thank you to all current users of the software. You’ll receive an email to the account associated with the login for your Capture One account; from there it’s simply a case of hitting the link, logging in, and hitting OK. The style pack will be sent to you via another email.
Once installed you’ll find the 10 presets in the adjustment tab. There are some variations of the styles, so in total there are actually 19 styles for you to choose from. Just like with presets in Lightroom all you have to do is hover over the style to see how it will affect your image, and then click to apply. All of the styles can be fine tweaked to your liking.
If you’re a current Capture One 12 user, be sure to check your email. You only have until January 31st to download the Editor’s Choice Style Pack. The styles all look great, and they’re free! What’s not to like? Go get yours now.
