A while back, the site shared a video of a college football photographer capturing the game with a GoPro mounted in his camera’s hot shoe. Recently, photographer Chadd Caddy did the same thing, but arguably captured much better moments. Chadd is a San Diego State Journalism student and shared the video via reddit. As you hear him shooting, he then goes on to show you some of the frames that he captured–and many are pretty darn good. Most notably, you’ll see a great catch photographed at just the right moments.
What that means is that Chadd was able to predict that the player would have the ball thrown to him and catch it. Foresight is a big part of photography, especially sports photography.
The video overall just shows us what it’s like for a college football shooter on the sidelines. Luckily, no one got super close and accidentally tackled him.
Check out Chadd’s video after the jump.
