On Canon Korea’s website, the company is teasing a new camera of some sort. We’re really curious about what it could possibly be but it looks like some sort of higher end DSLR from the shoulder shape. At Photo Plus Expo, we were a bit put off by the fact that the most exciting thing that the company showed off was a new firmware update. For such a big show where they have previously had much more interesting items, it was a bit odd. But if the company is indeed launching a new camera soon, we’re all waiting with bated breath.
What could it be? Could it be a new full frame DSLR? Could they be bringing back APS-H? Maybe the 7D Mk II? Or maybe Canon is also trying to go the retro route and also found a way to work with their older FD glass.
