Not too long ago, Sigma announced their brand new 24-105mm f4 lens that was quietly announced and then officially made known to the world. But today, they’re letting the world know that it will be sold at around an $899 price point. Now let’s think about that: if you’re a Canon user you know that this lens will come in at the price of a used Canon 24-105mm f4 L IS USM. This lens has OS, and both Canon and Nikon mount versions of this lens will have that feature. However, the Sony Alpha mount version won’t.
Still no word about when the lens will be launched, but you can expect it most likely soon.
Tech specs are after the jump.
