Cheap Photo: New Canon and Nikon Bundle Deals!

camera deals

There are really two times a photographer should consider buying a bundle deal; if they are just getting started, or they are switching systems. That said, if you fall into one of those categories both Canon and Nikon have launched some new instant rebates on their DSLR lineups saving you up to $550. Here are a few of the bigger deals, more after the jump!

Cheap Photo: Canon and Nikon Instant Savings at B&H

If you’re currently looking for Canon and Nikon products — especially lenses and speedlights –, you might want to take a look at B&H’s rebate pages. You’ll find a number of Canon and Nikon lenses as well as Canon speedlights there with instant savings of up to $ 300 (compared to MSRP).

Some examples:

The popular Canon 50/1.4 is currently on offer for $ 359 — that’s a $ 40 drop from the MSRP.

The EF-S 17-55/2.8 IS USM is $ 120 off, which means you can have it for $ 1,059 instead of 1,179.

And finally, the 70-200/2.8 L IS II USM comes with a whopping $ 300 savings, currently selling for $ 2,199 instead of 2,499 at B&H

If you’re in for a new flash, the Speedlite 600EX-RT is $ 50 off, selling for $ 579 instead of 629.

On the Nikon side, you can save up to $ 950 if you buy select discounted items together.

For example, while the D7000 alone is $ 200 off, if you pair it with the 18-200/3.5-5.6 DX VR II, you save a total of $ 450 and pay only $ 1,596,95 instead of $2,046.95.

There’s more, though. Take a look at B&H’s Canon rebate page and Nikon rebate page and see for yourself.

But here’s an even more ridiculous deal. If you select a Canon PowerShot G12 and add a Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II inkjet printer to your shopping basket, you get the whole package for as little as $ 298. PLUS free shipping. That saves you more than $ 400 over the already discounted price of each item. Even if you’re only in for either one, it doesn’t make any sense at this point not to get both at once.

Instant Rebate on the Olympus EP-2

We finished our review of the Olympus EP-2 a while back. We liked it: when paired with the right accessories. For the holiday season, the EP-2 is available with instant rebates: which include said items and is available only for a couple of days (so you can’t procrastinate.)

This is a great camera for the street photographer, the person looking for a more compact solution to bulk DSLRs, or the pro looking for something different. We understand that not everyone will want the K-x. However, this can be a great gift.
