Today, Panasonic LUMIX is introducing their new Panasonic LUMIX S 100-500mm f5-7.1 OIS lens for L mount. Notably, this isn’t a LUMIX S Pro lens — and so that means that it’s not something that they’re considering to be part of their higher end product lineup. They’re targeting it to wildlife photographers, motorsports, etc. Also, this isn’t a seemingly rebrand of a Sigma lens the way that Leica did a while back.
