Just a couple of days ago, Fujifilm released their awesome new firmware update for their X-E1 and X Pro 1 cameras. We loved the firmware so much that we went back and redid our Fujifilm X Pro 1 coverage and awarded the camera an Editor’s Choice rating. But today, the company is stating that they’re pulling the download and specifically citing problems with the video functionality.
To speak candidly, really? People really use this thing to shoot video? On my personal unit, I didn’t really see much of a problem unless they wanted focus peaking to actually work during video recording. It would also be stellar if they added manual exposure adjustment during video recording, but we’re not sitting here demanding it.
