A Redditor (Nicholas Sherlock) wrote a special customization code that sexes up the look and layout of Smugmug’s galleries. Instead of making them extremely separated and looking somewhat archaic, it cuts the separation down significantly and tries to stick to Flickr’s design layout more than something like 500px’s. As you can see on Nick’s website, it i really quite beautiful to look at and looks even better on a mobile device. The fact of the latter is even more important for portfolio presentation.
The code is currently in Beta, and Nick shows you exactly how to do it in this forum post.
