Full frame cameras have showcased progress over the past few years. Whether it is Sony or Nikon or Leica, each brand has pushed the envelope just a bit to build devices that are considered important even today. Here is a small peak into the past to see the cameras that we absolutely adored.
Canon R6 II

There is so much to like about the R6 II. The camera offers a 24MP sensor, 12fps burst rate, and a design that sits comfortably in your hands. Designed for beginners looking for a full frame, the camera offers a fantastic autofocus for animals and people alike. The tracking of the focusing system downright impressive and the image quality offers accurate colors and immense detail. Images printed at 17 inches by 22 inches from ISO 6400 are quite clean as well. The camera is quite weather resistant and can withstand snow.
Sony a9 III

The first ever stills camera with a global shutter, the a9 III is a dream for strobists. The device boasts a 24MP sensor, global shutter of 120fps, and impressive build quality. The autofocus is quick and responsive, and the image quality is perfect. The colors are nice, the high ISO result is clean and you get some wonderful skin tone. This camera is suited for event and wedding photographers who want to play with flash. It is also the winner of Editor’s Choice Award.
Nikon Zf

The Nikon Zf is a catch for those who want a tactile experience in a retro body. This was Nikon, and in general, the first mirrorless camera with a vintage design. At its heart is a 24MP sensor, hybrid autofocus, color profiles and more. The exterior is quite unique and the body is made of all metal. In addition to weather resistance, one also gets a good autofocus performance. The device can track people of color and the image quality is good off the bat. With Zeiss lenses, you can get truly dreamy photos.
Leica SL3

The SL3 is a fantastic camera for various reasons. The device offers a 60MP sensor, 769 grams of body, Maestro IV processor and a wide range of L lenses. The camera also has IP durability, and the battery is long enough to last up to a week. Perfect for photojournalists, war photographers and more, the SL3 also offers the fastest autofocus sytem and can track people of color with ease. The image quality is fantastic as always and the stabilization is another plus point. Leica Looks further makes your images even better.
Panasonic S1r II

The Panasonic S1R II is also a high resolution monster, spotting a 44MP sensor, Leica 2 engine, 40fps burst rate and more. The device has textured buttons, multiple exposure options, and multiple buttons for customization. The autofocus is pretty fabulous, and it can track people of color in low light, too. The image quality is fantastic, and the RAW files give you endless versatility. As we explained in our review, “There are situations where I had completely blown out the highlights and backlit a subject, but the S1R II was able to get lots of the details back and save the shadows at the same time.” The S1R II makes Panasonic a worthy contender in the full frame market.
