Canon cameras have been quite wonderful. The DSLRs, for instance, have been quite loved by many photographers. Similarly, the company has introduced good mirrorless variables, which can be of help to those shooting wildlife and birds. If you are a serious photographer who wants brand-new gear, then these offerings from the company will be loved.
Canon R5 II

Why is it great? The Canon R5 II features 30 fps continuous still shooting, a 5-axis image stabilization system, and a 45MP stacked sensor. The device has a nice sturdy build, and one can shoot anywhere with it. There is also 8K video recording, which further makes things much better for hybrid shooters.
What makes it unique? The Canon R5 II has a lot of issues, but the company is fixing them with firmware updates. The camera’s autofocus, for instance, gets much better, especially when you are photographing people of color. Similarly, the AF performance was good even when documenting animals or birds. The image quality is just as good, given the sensor. The high ISO performance does not disappoint and you get some muted colors.
During a daytime event and with the exposure preview turned off, the Canon EOS R5 II perhaps missed focus only a handful of times. That goes for photographing people and animals both. Of course, it was tougher to get the focus with birds at times. But everything that I’ve shot is acceptable in my mind.

Canon 100-500mm F4.5-7.1 L IS USM

It has 9 aperture blades, 20 elements in 14 groups, and a 3-foot minimum focusing distance, amongst other things. The is long, large, but has the best ergonomics to work with. There are customization buttons as well, which makes things easy on the go. The weather sealing is quite beautiful, which means the lens can withstand shooting in any situation outdoors.
What makes it unique? We tested the lens with the R5, and it did not disappoint. The lens’ autofocus is quick, accurate, and makes shooting easy. There is also immense sharpness, gorgeous color, and beautiful bokeh, amongst other things. The lens has no aberrations or ghosting effects, which proves that even professionals will adore it. Expensive at under $3000, this lens with the R5 II is the ideal set up for professionals.
It should go without saying, but the bokeh of the Canon RF 100-500mm f4.5-7.1 L IS USM is beautiful and creamy. With 9 aperture blades, it’s easy to understand why. Couple this with the beautiful color and great sharpness, and your subject will really stand out. This will be really important for bird shooters.
