Charts of the best-selling cameras for the month of July have been revealed. According to the new results, Fujifilm is beating the odds and is one of the prominent choices of users for July. The results were announced by Yodobashi Camera, one of the top retailers in Japan. However, these top-selling cameras showcase a different set of favourites than BCN+R’s list. So, which are the best-selling cameras for this month? Let’s dig in.
According to Yodobashi Camera, this month’s winners include APS-C cameras, but full frames are not too far behind. Here is a quick look:

- Sony a7C II Body — Silver | Black
- Fujifilm X-M5 XC15-45mm Lens Kit — Silver | Black
- Sony a7C II Zoom Lens Kit — Silver | Black
- Nikon Z50 II Double Zoom Kit
- Sony a7 IV Body
- Nikon Z5 II Body
- Canon EOS R5 Mk II Body
- Canon EOS R10 RF-S18-150 IS STM Lens Kit
- Canon EOS R50 Double Zoom Kit — Black | White
- Nikon Z FC 16-50 VR Lens Kit — Silver | Black
According to the company, the a7C II rose to the top spot after coming in second last month. On the other hand, the X-M5 was popular because the company was able to restock the device in July.

While Fujifilm may be in second place, no other company’s device is in the top 10. We should have expected to see the X100VI or the X-half, but for some reason or another, they dropped out. On the other hand, Nikon and Canon have three models each this time. Two are APS-C, and one is full-frame. Sony has two models, and both are full-frame cameras.
However, on the whole, APS-C has more weightage, with five different cameras taking top spot, with full frame only being at 4. While that is tough competition, full-frame has only two newer models, the Canon R5 II and the Z5 II, both of which were launched in the past year. As for the remaining two, they are two to four years old. Im addition, other than the R5 II, the remaining options are more entry-level, budget friendly devices.
In the end, when most people think of purchasing a new camera, budget plays a crucial role. In that sense, buying an older full-frame over a hybrid APS-C makes more sense, since you get extra megapixels. And with a good lens, you can capture more details. Either way, it is safe to say that in some cases, the compactness and price are the driving factors for a purchase. If it is a good deal, then people will buy it.
