If you use your iPhone 11 as your primary camera, the PolarPro LiteChaser Filter system should help open up more creative avenues.
There is no denying that the cameras in today’s phones are seriously impressive, but content creators are handicapped by a lack of pro-grade accessories that can help them get more out of their cameras. PolarPro, known for creating filters for conventional lenses, has taken note of this and have created the PolarPro LiteChaser Filter system. It should help mobile creators get more out of their setup. Join us after the break to learn more about PolarPro’s new filter system which includes, a case, grip, ND filter, variable ND’s, and circular polarizers.
Ever since the iPhone 11 came out, PolarPro states they have been working hard to come up with a system that could transform the phone into a worthy DSLR and Mirrorless camera replacement for creators who want to keep things small. The system has been designed so that filmmakers and photographers can create content that has never before possible on a mobile device.
The PolarPro LiteChaser filter system for the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max consists of a complete line of filters, which includes ND8 and ND64 Neutral Density filters, a Variable Neutral Density filter with 3-5 stops, and a Circular Polarizer. All the filters feature aluminum framing. As you can see from the image above, the filters attach to a PolarPro LiteChaser Pro case. The DSLR-like grip connects to a rail system that runs along the edges of the case. The grip has to 1/4″-20 threads so that you can attach the phone to a tripod or gimbal. You can also attach other accessories such as a light or microphone.
The PolarPro LiteChaser Filter System is available in five different kits geared toward different types of content creators. You have: the Essentials Kit ($69.99), which comes with the case and grip; the filmmaking kit ($149.99), which includes case, grip, and the 3-5 stop variable ND filter; and the photography kit ($119.99), that comes with the case, grip, and the circular polarizer.
The last two packages are the Visionary Kit, which features the case, grip, circular polarizer, and variable ND, and the Cinematography Kit, which has the case, grip, and both the ND8 and ND 64 neutral density filters. You can also buy the circular polarizer separately for $49.99, and the variable ND for $89.99.
If you have wanted a way to use filters on your iPhone 11, this new PolarPro filter system might just be what you have been waiting for. Please keep your eyes peeled; our review of the Photography Kit will be coming soon.
