Full frame cameras are the best choice for many photographers, both young and professional. That’s because it offers a variety of features, from extra resolution to better ISO output and more. If you are someone who is looking to purchase a full frame camera, but do not wish to purchase newer offerings, then you must certainly look at them. They will be somewhat cost-effective and provide you with the quality you desire.
Sony A9 II

The A9 II features a 24MP sensor, 693 AF points, a 1,440,000-dot LCD, and can record 4K video. The camera is priced well, is very quick to focus, and offers impressive battery life. There is also great image quality, great weather sealing, and it offers good 5-axis image stabilisation. As we said in our review, “When you look at the whole package though, and then you see the price of the camera compared to the options that it is going up against from Canon and Nikon (it’s roughly $2000 cheaper), the Sony a9 II is a great option for professionals out in the field and serious wildlife photographers.”
Leica SL2s

The Leica SL2s is designed for photojournalists. It features a 24MP sensor, a burst rate of 25fps, 4GB of internal memory, and 96MP multishot mode. For videographers, there is also 4K video at 60 frames per second. Some of the things the camera excels at include autofocus, solid build quality, and beautiful image quality. There is also excellent detection of people, which can capture fantastic details, and you get good high-ISO prints.
Canon R6

The Canon R6 is a 20MP full-frame camera that is weather-resistant. It features eye/face/animal detection, a burst rate of 20fps, ISO up to 204,800, and comes with a 3.69-million-pixel EVF with a 120fps refresh rate. It offers great ergonomics, build quality, and incredible autofocus performance. The image quality is excellent, the in-body image stabilisation is effective, and the EVF and LCD provide good quality. The Panasonic S5 is another full-frame camera that features a 24MP sensor, supports V-Log, HDR, and Dual Native ISO, and can record 4K videos. There is also a 2.36m-dot EVF, and you can shoot in 96MP high-resolution mode. The RAW files are good, the JPEG quality is just as great, and the high ISO output is just as nice. The camera is great with live composite, the shutter sound is nice, and the colors can put anyone in awe.
Sony a7s III

The Sony a7s III offers lesser resolution than other cameras on the list, but it is still a great camera. The Sony full-frame camera comes with a 12MP sensor, ISO up to 409,600, a 9.44 million-dot LCD, and 15 stops of dynamic range. The camera feels nice in your hands, has good build quality, great weather sealing, and just as exciting autofocus. Despite the small sensor, the image quality is great. As we said in our review, “You can shoot at ISO 6400, 12,800, and 25,600, and have no problems. If you want to go to nuclear numbers, you can do that too.”
