The Phoblographer Daily is streaming on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Pocket Casts, and Spotify!
You asked for it, and we listened! And now, you can listen to us! In fact, you can listen to us almost everywhere you get your podcasts. When you’ve found that you haven’t had time to sit back and read the site, you can listen to it instead. That’s why we created The Phoblographer Daily. We’ve had this function for a while now. There’s a special Listen to the Article button that reads the piece to you on many of our articles. And now we’ve turned our articles into full podcasts. Best of all, they’re quick and easy to listen to.
The Phoblographer has been working to take a lot of steps forward. Using the power of AI, we’re delivering our articles to you as soon as they publish. So when you subscribe to us on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Pocket Casts, or Spotify, you’ll get our latest posts. Want to check out the images in an article we’re discussing? Head to the site.Â

If you head over to your favorite place to get podcasts and search for The Phoblographer Daily or just The Phoblographer, you’ll spot us. Otherwise, click the links above to go there directly. We update every single day, and at least a few times a day. Many bigger articles will go in here like our reviews, opinions, news, educational articles, roundups, etc. (But, I think you’ll agree that listening to a deals article is pretty stupid, so we’re not going to do that.)Â

We’re super excited about this new feature, as no other photography website has it. Further, few photo publications have audio podcasts, a steadily updated Youtube channel, and a website cranking out content. But we do!
Since we are a small, ethical, and sustainable business, you can expect ads to come soon. But we’re not going to put a ton in them. Each article translated as a podcast episode is only a few minutes long. It makes no sense for us to put multiple ads in. The money received helps us continue to pay the staff competitively and, in many ways, better wages than other photo publications offer.

One of the coolest things we’ve done is conversational features. And the biggest payoff is in our interviews. That’s where you’ll hear two different voices pretty much having a conversation with one another.
Trust me when I say that a lot of work, headaches, coordination, frustration, and anguish went into this. But I know from founding this website 11 years ago that nothing comes easy. The last week or so has been emotionally overwhelming for me to see it finally become a tree from just a seed. And now, The Phoblographer Daily is going to bear new fruit for you all.
It’s a relief to type that. Trust me.

The original idea stemmed from something I wanted a while back. The Phoblographer’s Declassified series was the impetus. Last year, I wanted to turn this into a bigger podcast with original narration, audio, music, interviews, and the works. But getting the financials in place first proved to be really tough. So I decided to do the series as a written series. With the AI we’re using, the Declassified series has a new life.
If you’ve already been listening to the articles, you’ll notice a stark voice change. We were using British voices, and now we’ve moved to an American voice. Personally, I like the British voice more. It felt like I was being read a story, and got me very excited. For the moment, that voice is gone. But we’re working on getting it to come back.
I hope you enjoy The Phoblographer Daily on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Stitcher, Pocket Casts, or Spotify.
