Some of the most popular cameras during the month of October might surprise you.
Ten months down, two to go! We’ve almost made it through 2020. Hallelujah! Still, even with everything going on, our readers have been giving plenty of cameras new homes. At the end of every month, we take a quick look at the most popular cameras. How do we decide which cameras are the most popular? We look at our sales data to see which cameras you have been snapping up. This month, there are a couple on the list that may surprise you.
We’ve actually seen a nice spread between Full-Frame, APS-C, and Micro Four Thirds cameras during October. One interesting thing is that even though many out there believe Micro Four Thirds is dead, we continue to see a significant amount of M4/3 units being shipped. It’s easy to say that they continue to be some of the most popular cameras. APS-C cameras also routinely outsell Full-Frame options too. It’s always interesting to take a dive into the data. Take a look at the five most popular cameras below. Are you surprised? Let us know in the comment section at the end of the roundup.

“Overall, the Canon EOS R6 is an excellent stills camera that will bring a smile to the face of any event, wedding, or portrait photographer. It will do wonders for documentarians and photojournalists who need extreme low light shooting capabilities. The incredible tracking, burst rates, and buffer will delight wildlife and sports photographers. Itâs also a capable camera for landscape and astrophotography too. Pentax K1 Mk II

In our review, we said:
“This camera is designed to be used out in the wild where the elements can get in its face. I took this camera out into the pouring rain, heavy snow, dense fog, 45 mph winds, and into temperatures that dropped to -3 Fahrenheit, and it never missed a beat thanks to the 87 weather sealing points found around the body.”
