Tomorrow on Pro Camera Reviews, we’re talking about innovation in the camera world.

Let’s think about it: camera manufacturers are trying to play catch up to phone manufacturers. Yet phones are more functional in many ways. Powered by software, apps, and AI, phones are highly capable. Traditional cameras are very capable too, but in a much different way. However, camera manufacturers have been struggling for a long time, and the industry needs to evolve. So, we’ll be discussing how and what should be done in the next episode of Pro Camera Reviews.

Why Aren’t Camera Manufacturers Truly Innovating?: Speculation about a new 90MP Canon EOS R5s hit the internet this week. While this interesting, one has to wonder just how much longer the megapixel wars between camera manufacturers will go. More megapixels are great, but it seems as though this is all camera makers are focusing on these days. When it comes to innovation, all seems to be quiet. When will we see Canon, Sony, Nikon, Panasonic, and the rest introduce new features that really get the heart racing again? Have we reached peak camera in 2020? Join us as we discuss the unconfirmed (but certainly plausible) Canon EOS R5s and what new technologies we would like to see in cameras that can drive them forward, because megapixels alone aren’t doing it.

As long as you remember to be careful, you’ll be spot free! This segment will go over a few of our favorite tools. We’ll show you how to correctly clean the sensor, to trust yourself, etc. We’ll also share tips to prevent it from happening in the first place.
