Starting today, the free afternoon Skip Cohen University webinars will remotely connect photographers of all skillsets with leaders in the industry.
Being stuck inside is no fun for anyone, but there are some things we can do to help pass the time. Learning new skills is one way to make the most of the extra time you may now have on your hands, and Skip Cohen University is offering up free lunchtime webinars with the likes of Scott Kelby, Joe McNally, and Anne Geddes. Join us after the break for all the details.
The new ‘f64 Lunch Bunch’ photography webinars from Skip Cohen University aim to bring photographers of all skillsets from around the globe together to learn from masters in the industry. The idea stems from people’s love of being able to meet over lunch to discuss new ideas and share experiences with others. As we all know, this simply isn’t possible right now, but thanks to the wonders of the web we, can at least gather virtually.
Skip Cohen, the president of Skip Cohen University, said: “Some of the best industry ideas and friendships have come out of sharing meals together at conventions and trades shows.” “This ongoing global COVID-19 crisis changed this in the blink of an eye.” “The f64 Lunch Bunch was created as a way for us to practice a socially distanced ‘lunch break’ to talk about issues and find solutions to the trials of running a successful business in challenging times and build your network.”
The photography webinars are going to be held every day at 2PM Eastern via the Zoom webinar platform (this link will take you to the meetings). The f64 Lunch Bunch will feature a diverse group of photographers who cover just about every specialty in photography. Together they will be sharing ideas to help photographers through the challenges created by the COVID-19 crisis. If you join these webinars, you will be joined by photographers around the world, and together you will be able to learn from special guests in the comfort of your own homes. Now, this sounds like an opportunity that will be hard to pass up.
The special guests include Scott Kelby who will feature on Tuesday, March 24th, Jen Rozebaum will join the group on Wednesday, March 25th, Anne Geddes will be speaking live on Thursday, March 26th and Joe McNally will round things up on Friday, March 27th. The special guests will be sharing ideas related to marketing, business, finding new avenues for revenue, partnerships, expanding skillsets, and wherever else the conversations will take the group. The goal of these Skip Cohen University webinars is to help photographers find new ideas during this difficult and unplanned downtime.
