Still looking for a cool vintage Leica to your camera collection? A refurbished Leica M4-P we spotted could fit the bill.
Once in a while, we come across some unusual but cool vintage cameras than grab the attention of photographers and camera collectors. A good example is a refurbished Leica M4-P body dressed in a “Blue Lizard” grain leather cover that comes with a Leica Winder M. If you don’t mind some bright color on your vintage Leica, our latest find could be worthy of your attention and a space on your camera shelves.
The eye-catching Leica in question is listed by Pennsylvania-based ebay seller Elkins Park Camera, who describes it as a fully-serviced and CLA’d unit in perfect working and excellent cosmetic condition. The Leica Winder M it comes with has also been CLA’d and checked by their in-house camera repair technician. The viewfinder is clean and free of any dirt or dust markings, and the light seals are also in good condition. The metal finishes are clean, with only a few age markings, but no scratches, dings, or dents.
However, the bottom cover is missing so if you decide to grab it, you’d have to find a replacement for the bottom cover or use the winder. Both the camera body and the Winder M were made by Leitz Canada. The listing also includes a body cap, Leica fabric neck strap, and four AA batteries for the winder. It also comes with a 30-day warranty against operational defects, so you can be sure you’re getting a camera body in tip-top shape.
Color models and repainted vintage cameras are hit and miss, but we think this “Blue Lizard” Leica M4-P could be a pretty cool spare body for Leica M4-P owners. The M Winder could also be a nice addition to a Leica collector’s stash. All of these are yours for $956. If that sounds like a deal to you, go ahead and check out the ebay listing to find out more, make inquiries, or buy it now.
