The ONA x Tutes capsule collection features the Bowery and the Camps Bay, ONA’s most popular camera bag and backpack.
Camera bag and accessories purveyor ONA is at it again with stunning editions of its best-selling bags, giving photographers more options for their next camera bag purchase. For the latest of its special edition collections, the company has partnered with Bronx-based photographer Jose “Tutes” Tutiven and New York camera store Adorama to launch the ONA x Tutes capsule collection.
This new collaboration co-designed with Tutes is comprised of ONA’s popular Bowery messenger bag and Camps Bay backpack. It comes in a green-and-orange colorway inspired by the classic MA-1 bomber jacket, which brings to mind Tutes’s personal style and Bronx roots. The Bowery is designed to carry a camera plus one or two extra lenses and small items, while the Camps Bay can accommodate a camera with a 70-200mm f2.8 lens attached, up to seven additional lenses, most 17-inch laptops, and small personal items.
The ONA x Tutes Collection is handcrafted using durable 1000D CORDURA® and fitted with pebbled black leather accents and gunmetal solid brass hardware. To showcase the collection, ONA, Tutes, and Adorama hosted a free photowalk in the South Bronx, with over 50 local photographers in attendance that have previewed the bags.
Tutes, who specializes in urban portraiture, has been collaborating with both ONA and Adorama since starting as a full-time photographer. He cites ONA as his primary bag throughout his career. The Camps Bay, he says, remains his go-to for assignments, while he finds the Bowery perfect for his personal work. He also envisioned the ONA x Tutes Collection as a representation of his community, so they all worked together to ensure that the bags embody his style, the Bronx, and New York.
Has the ONA x Tutes capsule collection has caught your eye? You can now get the ONA x Tutes Bowery for $179 and the ONA x Tutes Camps Bay for $419 exclusively from the ONA website and Adorama.
