You support the #DoSomethingForNothing project when you get a CAMSLINGER Streetomatic Valerie Jardin Edition.
If you’re thinking of how you can help someone in need to start your year right, here’s a collaboration to consider. German camera bag maker COSYSPEED has recently launched the CAMSLINGER Streetomatic Valerie Jardin Edition – a limited edition camera bag created in partnership with street photographer Valerie Jardin. The project is Valerie’s way of supporting London hair stylist Joshua Coombes and his #DoSomethingForNothing project.
Some of you may already be familiar with the CAMSLINGER Streetomatic, but for the unfamiliar, think of it as a cross between a belt bag and a sling bag for mirrorless cameras and mid-sized DSLRs. You may also check out our review here. In essence, it’s designed for quick, one-handed access and operation whether you’re wearing it around your hips or over your shoulder as a sling bag.
As for this special edition bag, US/French street photographer Valerie Jardin brought some French chic into the CAMSLINGER Streetomatic in support of Joshua Coombes and his #DoSomethingForNothing project. Since 2015, Joshua has been giving free haircuts to homeless people around the world’s biggest cities. His efforts have made the rounds on social media, and even Morgan Freeman’s show on National Geographic and The Washington Post. Valerie soon picked up his story, visited him a couple of times, and began documenting Josh at work on the streets.
Aside from publishing a photo book on the#DoSomethingForNothing leg in New York City, Valerie now wants to keep supporting Joshua’s amazing project through this joint venture with COSYSPEED. The stylish CAMSLINGER Streetomatic Valerie Jardin Edition is limited to only 200 bags. If this camera bag is something for you, it’s available on the COSYSPEED website for US $89.99/âĴ 89.99. US $5,000 of the profits will go to the #DoSomethingForNothing project.
