EyeEm Mission: Natural Light Portraiture Contest

Portraiture is something very personal. When you create an image of someone, you put your stamp on their likeness being documented. The image is a collaboration process–and when you combine this with all the fun that a scenic landscape or cityscape can provide mixed in with radiant natural light, you simply cannot go wrong.

That’s why EyeEm and the Phoblographer are teaming up for their latest mission: Natural Light Portrait.

Here are the details.

Your Mission: This mission is going to be one that we want to truly inspire the community to grab their cameras, get out there, work with someone and shoot photos to their heart’s content. So with that said, be judicious in your submission.

Simply identify that one shot you’re especially proud of, you worked long and hard to take, or the one with the personal story behind it – and submit it to Natural Light Portrait using the EyeEm app available in the App Store or the Google Play store. In the caption or comments, wax poetically about the moment you and this person (or people) created!

Your Reward: The winning photographer, will be interviewed by Chris Gampat, the man behind The Phoblographer, and have a selection of their images featured there in a dedicated post. Check out the previous winners Justina Prankaite and Vlad Gheorghiu! A handful of runners up will also star in a My Favorite Photo image collection on EyeEm.

How To Take Part: Photos tagged with Natural Light Portrait will automatically be entered to the Mission. So add the tag as you upload a photo or add it to one you’ve already uploaded – just select Edit Photo then add the tag “My Favorite Photo”.
