Panasonic Announces 12-60mm f3.5-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens

Panasonic 12-60mm

The new Panasonic 12-60mm f3.5-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens was just announced, and it’s quite the powerful option it seems. Offering a 24-120mm field of view and pretty much no reason to stop it down while in use, the lens has one Extra-Low Dispersion Element, three Aspherical Elements, POWER O.I.S. with Dual I.S. compatibility (suing the lens’s IS), Splash- and Dust-Proof Construction and seven aperture blades.

Best of all: it’s not at a bad price at $497.99. Crazy, huh? More tech specs are after the jump.
