Hey folks,

The Phoblographer has forever had an extremely strong analog community, and I’d argue that of all the large photo blogs, this site has the strongest. So I’m looking directly at you folks for this next round of features. If you make your own cameras, I’d love to talk to you about the process and feature them on the site. That means beer can pinhole cameras, hand made 4×5 cameras from wood, etc. Let’s talk about them.

Details on how to pitch yourself are after the jump.

So how do you pitch yourself? FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY

– Shoot the site an email at editors[at]thephoblographer[dot]com. You’ll also probably notice the little call to feature you on the sidebar.

– Describe yourself as a photographer. Detail the who, what, when, where, how and why about yourself.

– Include websites of yours

– Explain why the readers want to see your work., or why your project is really cool. Plus, I’d love to see images of the cameras and images shot with the cameras. Send them at 1000 pixels on the long side to make it easier on email.

I will review all of your submissions and get back to you based on the volume of emails. Don’t let this discourage you, I’m a very cool cat; just busy.
