Good News for European and Canadian Readers

Hi folks,

Over the years that I’ve been running The Phoblographer, there have been lots of inquiries from international readers that have wanted to purchase products through links on the site to help support it; but it was always tougher because all links were only targeted to the US readers.

The site has been going through lots of changes recently and as of today, readers in the European Union and Canada both will be directed to their local Amazon channels when clicking the site’s Amazon affiliate links. That means that if you’re in Canada, Spain, France, Britain, Italy or Germany, you’ll be able to click the links, make a purchase and support the Phoblographer. As always, you can get this from both B&H Photo and Adorama too when you click those links; but at least now you’ve got some extra support.

So sorry that it’s taken so long to get to this point.

As you all know too, I recently launched AllCameraDeals.com, which you should check out. International Amazon links for that site have yet to be set up though 🙁

This is all part of the big changes that have been in the works and coming to the Phoblographer for a while on top of the desktop design tweaks, the mobile redesign, the shift towards more artistic content, and there is one other big announcement coming before the end of the year. So stay tuned.

PS: And yes, I know many of you think that the site’s tablet experience is crap. And guess what, I agree with you. I’m working on a solution, but give me time.
